The HHS FFA Chapter has concluded an exceptional contest season, showcasing the dedication and hard work of its members. This year, the chapter placed 35th out of 361 chapters statewide in Missouri and received a Gold Emblem rating. Additionally, the chapter earned both the 10+ Member Growth Award and the 10+ Percent Membership Growth Award, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the FFA community.
Several teams and individual members earned remarkable results during the season, with district-level competitions yielding top performances:
Nursery/Landscape: Ethan LeBlanc, Dakota Oster, Diya Patel, and Chance Teckemeyer placed 1st
Agronomy: Canyon Frazier, Ella Green, Miranda Woolstrum, and Zen Marler placed 4th
Dairy Foods: Eliana Blitch, Tristian Dawson, Elijah Struik, and Luke Phillips placed 13th
Ag Mechanics: Braiden Wynia, Cason Kemp, and Baylor Evans placed 27th
Entomology: Grace Getman, Gage Harris, Calli Schill, and Olivia Buttram placed 27th
Livestock: Addison Kimrey, Addison Wilson, and Sam Herrera placed 31st
Dairy Cattle: Madison Bick, Saskia Daniel, Wyatt Bean, and Paige Mims placed 33rd
Poultry: Emmit Aksamit and Trevor Aksamit placed 28th
Vet Science: Addison Kimrey, Addison Wilson, and Sam Herrera placed 31st
The Agronomy and Nursery/Landscape teams advanced to the state competition, with the Agronomy team finishing 5th and the Nursery/Landscape team placing 9th. At State, members Ella Green, Miranda Woolstrum, Canyon Frazier, Zen Marler, Dakota Oster, Ethan LeBlanc, and Diya Patel received a Gold Rating, while Chance Teckemeyer earned a Silver Rating.
Furthermore, Chance Teckemeyer achieved the prestigious honor of receiving his State Degree, a significant accomplishment in FFA.
