Expand the Agriculture Education Program, facilities, and course offerings to accommodate student interest, including middle school.
Update 8/29/2024: The pad is poured and block is being delivered to start building walls.
Update 8/7/2024: Concrete is being poured and utilities have been run to the site.
Update 7/10/24: Dirt work is complete. The site is prepped for concrete.
Install new upgraded cameras throughout the district.
Update 8/7/2024: Installation of bus cameras has been completed.
Update 7/10/24: Installation of bus cameras has begun.
Update 5/31/24: We have installed upgraded cameras across our campus and have ordered upgraded cameras for all of our buses, including backup cameras.
The addition of a designated cafeteria allowing for maximum utilization and flexibility of facilities both during the school day and beyond.
Update 8/29/24:
The alcoves in the current gym/cafeteria have been removed. The painters have finished the touch ups. Flooring is being removed and the new flooring will be installed in the next two to three weeks. We are hopeful to begin using this space again by the end of September. The concrete pad for the new cafeteria has been poured.
Update 7/10/24: Foundation walls have been poured. The existing cafeteria has begun to be transformed into a gymnasium.
Update 6/19/24: We broke ground and are ready to start laying the foundation.
Renovate and improve facilities to maximize space and enhance security while creating a welcoming environment.
8/29/24: All hallways are complete as well as bathrooms except for some transitions and some cove base. We will finish those as we finish other buildings during days that students are not in school. Doors will be installed in the classrooms and throughout the commons area.
8/7/24: Walls are painted, ceiling tile grid and new light fixtures have been installed, flooring is being installed, and restrooms have new floor, paint, and fixtures. Middle School lockers are scheduled to arrive first part of September. High School shelves and benches are being installed.
7/10/24: Lockers and furniture have been ordered. The framework and sheetrock is complete.
Update 6/19/24: Demolition of the high school and middle school hallways has been completed. Furniture for the high school and lockers for the middle school are being ordered.
Update 5/31/24: We have begun demolition of the high school hallways.
Restructure lease purchase debt, allowing $275,000 to attract and retain qualified teachers and staff—NO tax increase.
Update 7/10/24: The lease purchase has been paid off, freeing up the money to give all school personnel a 5% increase in pay for only the second time in fifteen years.
My teacher really helps us. She helps me do my work and she helps us with math. She is a really nice teacher and if I didn't have my teacher it would be hard for me to learn as much as I do. ~ Dario, 2nd grade
Create an all-weather multipurpose activity center for students and the community.
Update 8/29/24: Compaction is complete. Footers are being poured and steel is scheduled to arrive soon.
Update 7/10/24: Dirt work on site is complete and footers are being dug. Indoor turf and batting cages have been ordered.
It would be pretty cool to have a place to practice baseball when it is raining so we don’t have to cancel practice. ~ Logan, 4th Grade
