The Hollister R-V School District is seeking applicants for a Special Education teaching position for the 2012-2013 school year. Applicants must qualify for a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Special Education or have taken the Praxis exam to obtain certification for Special Education. Applicants must possess some knowledge of the IEP and Evaluation process. In this position, the Special Education instructor will work closely with the regular education teachers to develop the best program for each of the students involved.

Candidates must possess or be eligible to receive the appropriate Bachelor's degree and certification in 9-12 Communications Arts in the state of Missouri. The candidate must understand how to implement the Missouri Reading Initiative in the classroom and have the ability to work cooperatively with faculty, students, and parents.
